Your mission as Business Development Manager is to expand and enhance our Affiliate Program and online lead generation efforts. Uncover prospective referral agents, lead generators and affiliates. Reach out, engage, and then bring them on board. You're selling a partnership with a fast growing, next generation tech company. Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and cultivate potential referral agents, lead generators and affiliates
- Create marketing strategies to work with potential affiliates
- Respond to inbound requests from potential new affiliates and attend affiliate trade shows and expos to solicit prospects
- Develop criteria to gauge viability of new affiliate partners
- Close deals with new affiliates to increase the size and profitability of the channel utilizing strong sales techniques
- Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliate networks to produce new business development and sales channel opportunities
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year university in Marketing or Business (or related field)
- 3-5 years business development experience as an Account Manager, Affiliate Manager or Business Development Manager (or related title)
- Proven experience with online lead generation
- Experience with performance based sales or direct response marketing
- Excellent organizational skills, with extreme attention to detail, accuracy and accountability
- Broad spectrum of communication skills, including professional interaction with prospective affiliates within diverse sales channels
- Energy and passion for expanding business potential in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet partners and participate in trade shows
