Where Should I Put It?
FrontPoint recommends placing a carbon monoxide sensor near each sleeping area.
How Many Do I Need?
To protect against poisonous CO gas, we recommend placing at least one CO sensor in each sleeping area (a common area adjoining one or more bedrooms).
What Else Should I Know?
Avoid putting a sensor directly above or beside fuel burning devices or heating vents, in utility closets, or directly next to automobile exhaust pipes, as doing so may result in false alarms.
