Description

Water can be extremely destructive. Avoid coming home to a flooded house. With Frontpoint's Interactive or Ultimate Monitoring, you'll get instant notification by email or text anytime water intrudes. Is a neighbor watching the house for you while you're gone? You can set up notifications for them as well, and remotely disarm the system to let them in!

You need to rely on your security system. Frontpoint has covered every angle for you, safeguarding against mishap. The GE sensors are strong, tamper-proof and warrantied. The Water and Flood Sensor is particularly smart, with a transmission gear separated from the detection gear inside the unit. That means the encroaching water won't hurt the transmitter and the wireless signal will reach its destination.

Setup

Getting Started
Simple to Set Up

Put the Water and Flood Sensor anywhere that may be at risk for getting wet, like a basement or utility room. Depending on your house layout, you can put a sensor on the floor or on a wall (for high water detection) or both. We often recommend these sensors near a basement storm door, water heater, sump pump, washing machine or utility room.

Like all Frontpoint equipment, setup is simple. Just place the sensor on a flat surface, or use the "peel-and-place" adhesive to attach it to a wall.
