Setup and Use
Put the Water and Flood Sensor anywhere that may be at risk for getting wet, like a basement or utility room. Depending on your house layout, you can put a sensor on the floor or on a wall (for high water detection) or both. We often recommend these sensors near a:
- basement storm door
- water heater
- sump pump
- washing machine utility room
Like all FrontPoint equipment, setup is simple. Just place the sensor on a flat surface, or use the "peel-and-place" adhesive to attach it to a wall.
Water can be extremely destructive. Avoid coming home to a flooded house. You can set up notifications for them as well, and remotely disarm the system to let them in!
