Setup and Use
The Recessed Door Sensor adds security to any opening, but the sensor may be concealed for aesthetic reasons. It provides the same high quality of intrusion alert as our standard Door and Window Sensors.
Place your Recessed Door Sensor inside the door or window frame. It's best to install it in the top of the door frame (the header), and not in the moving part of the door. For these sensors, the door and frame must be wooden.
This is the only FrontPoint component that requires tools for setup. Setup is still easy, if you're comfortable using an electric hand drill. We'll provide all the simple instructions, and can even walk you through it on the phone.
