Required Items for Installation:
- Ultimate Monitoring service plan
- Broadband internet access (DSL or Cable)
- To work in wireless mode, you must know your wireless network name (SSID) and password (WEP/WPA key)
- A router that supports Plug & Play (UPnP) or knowledge of how to configure port forwarding
- Windows PC with Microsoft Internet Explorer (needed only for initial configuration process)
Important Note: To use the camera in wireless mode, you must know your network name (SSID) and password (WEP/WPA key). FrontPoint cannot assist you if you do not know this information - you must obtain it from your internet service provider. In addition, if you do not have a Plug & Play router, you will need to configure a setting called "Port Forwarding" on your router. FrontPoint can provide you instructions for this, but cannot assist with any reconfiguration of your router. If you require professional assistance in reconfiguring your router, please contact your internet service provider or home networking specialist (such as www.geeksquad.com). ***Routers NOT currently compatible: Apple Time Capsule, Netgear CG814WG v.2 from Comcast.
