Built with advanced deterrence tools, the Wireless Outdoor Camera doesn’t just record—it helps stop trouble before it starts. A bright spotlight and loud siren can automatically activate when a person is detected or can be activated manually through the Frontpoint mobile app and website.
Easily add the camera to your system using the Frontpoint mobile app. To mount the camera, you’ll just need to affix two screws to the mounting plate and then twist the camera onto the plate.
For a no-drill installation, you can purchase a third-party compatible mounting accessory; please refer to our instructions here, if interested.

2. Can I be notified when the camera detects movement?
Yes, the Frontpoint app can notify you when motion is detected. Video Analytics allows your camera to distinguish between a person, animal, or vehicle and will notify you accordingly. You can also set tripwires and virtual zones so that you’re only notified when activity is detected in designated areas.
3. Will my Wireless Outdoor Camera work if the power goes out?
No. Even though the Wireless Outdoor Camera is battery-powered, it still requires Wi-Fi to operate.
4. Can I buy a Solar Panel for my Wireless Outdoor Camera later?
Absolutely - it can be added at any time. You’ll get the best value when you bundle these items during your initial purchase.
