Customer Spotlight: Erica R.

Erica R., a Frontpoint customer, flew to Florida for her Master’s graduation ceremony and enjoyed five worry-free days in the Sunshine State. She entrusted her Frontpoint system to do its job (which it did), allowing her to have peace of mind. However, if it wasn’t for someone else’s recommendation, Erica may have never found herself with an alarm system.

What led you to purchase a home security system?

My sweetheart suggested it because at the time it was just my daughter, son and I living at home. The back of the house was pretty isolated and there were 13 windows on the ground floor. We all slept upstairs and could not hear a single thing on the first level, so Bishop [my sweetheart] decided to purchase the system for us so that we were safe.

How did you end up choosing Frontpoint as your home security provider?

I scoured the Internet, looking at one company after another. I read a lot of reviews on various websites and eventually narrowed it down to three companies.

Once I did that, I dug even deeper with the reviews and ended up choosing Frontpoint because Frontpoint nailed pretty much every review out there. Now, there’s no perfect company and there were also a few negative reviews to be found, but those reviews did not outweigh my decision to go with Frontpoint.

Name the feature(s) of the Frontpoint system that you love and/or could not live without.

I absolutely cannot live without the app on my phone! Several times my system went off while I was out of town and I was able to disarm it from my hotel room.

Do you use your system in any unique ways? If so, how?

I do not. I live in an apartment on the top floor so there’s no need to do anything unique, for now.

Tell us about a unique/favorite experience you had with Frontpoint, either with the system or service.

Well, I moved from house to an apartment on the top floor, and it had a built-in alarm system included. I called Frontpoint to inquire about cancelling my plan early. Frontpoint offered me additional equipment for being a valued customer and continuing with the service instead of cancelling, which I still could have done instead.

Word association time. What words do you think of when you hear Frontpoint?

  • Quality
  • Great customer service
  • Always on point
  • Never a problem
  • Dedicated staff

One of our core values is ‘Build Trust,’ what does that mean to you?

I think Frontpoint goes out of their way to make sure their customers can trust them to deliver what they said they will deliver. No gimmicks. No bait and switch. No false advertising.

This isn’t the case with some of Frontpoint’s competitors, which was another deciding factor for choosing Frontpoint. Not one time have I ever felt deceived or tricked.

I absolutely LOVE this company and the service I have been provided thus far!!!!

Traveling has its joys and rewards, but also its share of hassles – and risks. One of the biggest concerns of going on a trip is leaving your home behind, empty and unguarded. But these worries disappear if you have a home security system.

I would like to point out most people miss the point by saving on their system, because they do not associate the homeowners insurance policy savings to the true cost of the system. In actuality, it is approximate only 50% of the cost. I don't know, but worth the chance to contact the insurance company for dweller insurance in a condo or apartment.
