FrontPoint Friday: Meet Andrew Burk

FrontPoint came from humble beginnings in 2007 -- as Co-Founder Peter Rogers will gladly attest. Since its early days in a basement, the company has grown quickly.

Despite rapid growth over a short seven years, FrontPoint has stuck to its humble roots: the culture, the beliefs and the values all remain the same, while the dreams and ideas continue to evolve and change. This fact is most apparent when speaking to the employees who’ve been around the longest, which I had the chance to do.

I’ll share one of these conversations today, giving you a glimpse into the mind of one of our most-tenured employees and the life at FrontPoint. Let’s begin with the Director of Customer Relations and FrontPoint’s 15th employee, Andrew Burk

Let’s ease into this: What food could you eat every day?

As one of the longest-tenured employees at FrontPoint, you’ve seen a lot of changes. What’s the biggest difference between working here now versus five years ago?

I don’t know everyone on a first name basis anymore!

Share the one FrontPoint moment or memory that will stick with you forever.

My favorite memory was driving down to Clemson University with some members of the senior leadership – Peter Rogers, Phil Pearson – to install 75 security systems in one day.

What’s your favorite thing about working here?

The best thing about working at FrontPoint is easily how every day brings a different challenge from the previous day.

How do you use FrontPoint’s core values – Build Trust, Dream Big, Be Awesome – to do your job on a daily basis?

To me, building trust with our customers means that we need to be creative in finding ways to make FrontPoint ‘work’ for each customer’s situation. All of the managers here are constantly encouraging our specialists to find new ways to go above and beyond for our customers, and I love seeing the ideas they come up with – things I never would have thought of.

Describe FrontPoint in one word.

What are you most excited about when it comes to FrontPoint’s future?

FrontPoint’s future, in many ways, is entirely undefined, but I get to play a huge part in defining it, and that’s really exciting.

Alright, easy last question: What movie are you looking forward to the most in 2014?

Dumb and Dumber To.

Keep tuning back in every week for another edition of FrontPoint Friday, as we continue to pick apart the brains of employees and show you glimpses of the life at FrontPoint!
