The Wired Doorbell Camera has less flexibility for installation than a battery-powered solution but is perfect for those who have an existing mechanical doorbell and prefer the convenience of not having to change a battery.
The Frontpoint Wired Doorbell Camera is equipped with video analytics and rapid person detection to capture footage of intruders - and its smart notifications ensure you aren’t bothered by trivial motion detection (such as leaves or passing cars). The doorbell camera’s full HD resolution, High Dynamic Range (HDR), and infrared night vision enable you to see what’s happening at your door and beyond, day or night.

That Two-Way Audio also comes in handy when you’re away from home. If your Wired Doorbell Camera senses movement, you’ll get an alert on your smartphone. So, you can tell a delivery person to leave the package by the back door or you can surprise a would-be intruder by telling them that you’ve called the police and they’re on the way (even if you’re hundreds of miles from home).

No. The Wired Doorbell Camera requires a power source, so it will not work if your power goes out.
