Frontpoint Security Products that Fits your Needs

I have to admit, at first glance, everything about home security can seem daunting. There’s a lot of jargon that gets thrown around, and let’s not forget about all the technology involved.

Frontpoint works extremely hard to keep things very simple for customers, making sure you get the home security that fits you. It doesn’t matter if you’re terrible with technology or a gadget guru, we’ve got you covered.

Keeping It Basic

Want a system that you can just set and forget?

If technology isn’t really your thing, we can help you configure a system that will protect your home – no bells and whistles. Once you set it up, all you need to do from that point on is arm and disarm the system.

It won’t be the fanciest alarm system since you’ll be without interactive features, but it’ll be just as effective at protecting the stuff that matters: you, your family and your belongings.

Getting Advanced

However, if you’re comfortable with technology and looking to get a little more out of your alarm system, you can always do so easily by adding additional sensors, exploring home automation or taking advantage of interactive features.

Interactive features allow you to use your smartphone or tablet to control your alarm system: remotely arm and disarm, control your lights, receive instant alerts and more. Best of all, you can do this from just about anywhere, whether you’re out shopping for groceries or traveling to another state.

Visual Home Security

Maybe just being in the know isn’t enough for you. You’re the type that wants eyes on your home, 24/7. Sounds like security cameras are up your alley.

Security cameras give a visual component to a home security system, so you can see exactly what’s going on in and out of your home. They don’t have to be used to see if a burglary is taking place either; you can also use them just to check in on the kids, pets or see if a package has arrived.

Security for Everyone

No matter your situation, there’s a home security system out there for you. Protecting your home should be simple, and that starts with making sure your system fits your needs.

Hi Ronald, at this time we don't have any plans to use wireless cameras that function on z-wave signals. However, we will make sure to share your suggestion with our team for our future camera planning. Thank you!

Please cancel my monitoring service. I rarely remember to arm the system and therefore monitoring (at significant cost) is fairly pointless. Unless the system can be set to arm/disarm automatically at preset times of day it is of little use to me. Thank you.

Here's what I wish customers could do: Whenever I arm the system away, designated make-it-look-like-someone-is-home lights turn on and off at predetermined times. How great would that be?!

Charlie, we totally agree! This is something you can easily setup with a Frontpoint system by getting a couple of the wireless light controls we offer. This really keeps you safe and can easily fool someone into thinking you're home.

Hi Valerie, Glad you agree. I do have three lights on z-wave controls. The problem lies in the way the emPower rules are 'written' to control these lights. It's impossible to create a rule that will turn lights on/off at specific times whenever I arm the system away. If you think this is a good idea and really want to help, please advocate for all Frontpoint customers to allow us to make such a rule.

Charlie, thanks for this clarification on the exact rule you would want to setup. I will happily re-iterate your request for this feature! This is definitely something we are currently having our engineers looking into and we should have some pretty exciting updates for you in the near future.

Felipe, our Support Team can give you a list of all the z-wave sensors we sell and the exact model numbers for the ones we don't sell, but do support. They will take all the time you need to explain how to set up these automation features and how to control your system from your cell phone. Would you like me to have someone give you a call or send an email? I'm more than happy to help, just let me know what works best for you!
